New York Trash
From the moment I stepped off the plane, I realized how incredibly gross American cities are. In hindsight, I don't think Bangkok was all that bad...

Actually, I was going to write an entry pondering whether this (picture 1 - aforementioned trash) is the price to be paid for that (picture 2 - cool Spanish woman with guitar). Don't find much of that in Japanese subways (or supposedly even Boston subways according to the MBTA's new rules). I suppose most Asian countries still aren't rich enough to support a population of starving artists.
