Deforest, dahling! So good to hear you escaped the brutish clutches of the barbarous police. We really must increase our efforts to privatize the NYPD! I do hope they at least paid for your tuxedo cleaning?
BTW, what happened?!

i was at 57 for about 15 hours, starting tuesday night at 8:45. i was picked up at 5th and 17th and was in the gulag at center st until thursday at 3:30. i've already been in touch with two new york congressmen, the aclu, media, and lawyers. i'll join every class action suit there is, and have some of my own as well. i'll see that these people pay my NYU tuition for the next three years.
